Prayers For Navigating Life & Personal Growth

Speaking Truth & Light Into Daily Life Through Prayer

Meditation and Prayer: Pathways to Peace and Connection

Practical ways to refocus the mind, find calm, and grow closer to God

Meditation and prayer are distinctly tied together. They’re practical ways to refocus our thoughts, settle our minds, and restore a sense of calm. Prayer is a form of communication with the Divine, whether recited or felt. It’s an opportunity to reflect on scripture. It’s an avenue for connection for us to grow closer to God and awaken the Spirit within us.

Jesus Himself set the prime example of what prayer looks like when he demonstrated the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew chapter 6. And again, in Philippians 4, Paul writes, “…do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” (ESV) These are both confirmations for us of the practice of prayer.

Many types and purposes for prayer cover every aspect of life and personal growth. Browse our prayers for every moment in life.

Meditative prayers have a slightly different focus and format.
They bring rote memorization, scripture, and other liturgy into the practice to enrich our prayer lives and connect with God on a deeper level.

Christian Prayers For Strength

We rely on inner strength to sustain us throughout the day and fortify us for whatever challenges we face. But sometimes, that strength is elusive. Praying for strength is an act of turning to God and acknowledging we need His support to keep going, relying on His strength to move us forward and help us grow.

Christian Prayers For Peace
